200 -10 Fundraising Campaign Drive
Footprints
Dear Family, Friends and Supporters:

We are writing you to invite you to participate in Footprints’ Annual 200-10
Fundraising Campaign. Our goal is to attract at least 200 people to donate a tax-
deductible gift of $10 or more to our organization.  Footprints is a nonprofit 501(c)3
organization designed to nurture and cultivate a positive self image for girls 9 – 17
years old, while building character on the principles of Self Respect, Life
Endeavors, Community and the Arts.

Footprints is transitioning into a stronger community based organization with
additional focus on enhancing partnerships with other youth serving organizations
in the Greater Cleveland area. There is strength in unity. The more Footprints
reaches out to collaborate with other youth serving organizations, the better our
opportunities will be to ensure that the success of Footprints extends beyond the
walls of Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center.

The contributions raised this year, will support the following activities/programs:
  • Weekly Footprints Sessions – provide supplies and materials for weekly
workshops (i.e. – handouts, arts & crafts, seed money for community service
    projects, etc.)
  • Women of Note Series – informal dinners where Footprints members meet
and talk with women who are making a positive impact in our community.
  • Annual Summer Educational and Cultural Trip – participants will be visiting
local colleges and cultural institutions during the second week of August
    2009 in Chicago, IL.

If you would like to make a $10 (or more) donation, please use one of the following
methods:

  1. Cash – Give contribution to a Footprints Staff Member.
  2. Check – Please make all checks payable to Footprints (PO Box 606198,
    Cleveland, OH 44106).
  3. Credit – Click "Make a Donation" and send a secured donation to
    info@footprints4girls.com using PayPal.

The deadline for donations to Footprints’ 200-10 Fundraising Campaign is July 17,
2009. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Stephanie Howse or Maiya
Jones at the numbers below.
